Solid, roomy chair, sturdy, 3 levels of adjustment. August 25, 2010 Jared Dicioccio (New Jersey, USA) I've only had it for a few days but pretty happy with the purchase. I got it on sale for ~$110 and think that's a steal. It's not as soft and comfy like a $500 executive chair but if anyone expects that at this price they're crazy. But for a computer chair in the $1xx range it's excellent. Very sturdy design, very easy to put together, and very roomy. If you're big and tall you won't feel cramped at all.
The most interesting aspect of this chair, especially given its price point, was the 3 levers to adjust height, and two angles of incline. You can recline the back piece as well as the seat, and of course height. When I'm at my computer I put the back more upright, and when I'm turned to face my TV to play PS3 or just relax I recline the back. I have an awful habit of leaning back in my chairs which often results in the backpiece breaking. I'm hoping since this chair is designed to be reclined that this won't happen.
The padding is very firm. It's not a chair you sink into. Yet it's still comfortable and supportive. The back mesh makes an odd crackling noise when you get up from sitting in it for a while but I'm hoping that's just because it's new and not broken in. The armrests are a typical weak point in any chair. I'm not convinced these will be any different. There's no immediate indications that they're overly weak, but they're not quite as sturdy as the rest of the chair is.
Overall it's a great chair for the price and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
Very nice chair August 3, 2010 Danny Wills 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I spend a lot of time on the computer and needed a new chair in the worst way. This chair is very comfortable, designed for 'the long haul' sitters. It is fully adjustable .... sets for seat height, seat angle, back to seat angle, and back height and lean tension. The lumbar support is good without being obtrusive. The arms are comfortable and adjust for height and width individually. Construction is very heavy (think industrial). This chair looks like it will last ten or more years easily. I'm very happy with my investment.
High Back Mesh Ergo Chair July 31, 2010 J. F. Slavinsky (Dallas, TX) Okay. I bought this chair because of the good reviews, here on Amazon, and the price. The only thing I was leery about, was the "High Back Mesh" part. When I think of "mesh", I think of Herman Miller mesh, open, with air flow. I had this on my old chair, but the padding on the seat was pretty thin, and if I sat in it for more than an hour, I'd get pretty sore. Anyway, this chair has a much thicker seat, but the back, while being high(which is good!), was solid, and would get pretty hot after a short while. So, I switched the backs on the two chairs, and "Problem Solved!". I've got the old back on the new seat, and as an extra bonus, the arms of the new chair work, as well. I couldn't use the arms on the old chair. Ultimately, I'm happy with my purchase, even though I ended up modifying it, which is why I only gave it 3 stars.
Good is good cheap is expensive- not comfortabe in any way July 27, 2010 rudi 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Easy to assemble. Took about 15 minutes. Not comfortable at all. I have learned an important lesson, even though this chair looks good it is very cheaply made and for the price I paid $144 it's a rip off. Most important you need to sit in a chair and feel it out before you buy one. I am very disappointed with this chair. My old one is much more comfortable than this one and I can't return it so I plan to give it away.
Love at first seat July 24, 2010 Lakshmi Kannan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Easy to setup except that the arm rests weren't marked with which way to put them. It would have saved ten minutes. But if you have assembled chairs before, this should be a cake walk. I had no prior experience ;)
Very comfortable to work sitting on this chair. Worth the penny you pay for.
The fabric is a little harsh on my skin but I don't like leather chairs. So I guess I can bear that.
I would have given it a 5 but for the fabric and a missing instruction for setup.
Just buy it.You won't regret it. I am very happy with this chair.
