The chair arrived quickly and as expected--needing assembly. No instructions or invoice were included in the box but we figured it out quite easily. We would have had to get on-line to get info if needed. We love the chair and use it at the computer desk.

Here's the good...
- easy to assemble
- seems to encourage good posture
- relationship of seat and kneeling cushions
- seems to be the least expensive chair of its type
Here's the not-so-good...
- height of the chair
- workmanship (only fair)
- sturdiness of the legs running out to the knee pads might be an issue with time
- materials and finish are only adequate
Summary...
My main issue with this chair is its height.
At my desk, my keyboard sits in a keyboard tray (or drawer) which is slightly lower than the height of the writing surface of the desk. While sitting in my standard desk chair, my forearms are parallel with the floor when I am typing. When I am sitting in the yoga chair, I am about six inches too high. The height of my keyboard is between 26 and 27 inches. If the seat on the yoga chair, and the knee pads, were both about six inches lower, this chair would do the job for me and I would keep the chair. As it is, I am thinking about returning it. This chair should probably be available in two heights, or (somehow) be height adjustable.

I agree with "Quality Control." My chair will not last long because I am one of the heavy people (195 lbs). There should be a warning. Does anybody know where I can get a more sturdy version of this ergonomic seat?

I'm in my eighth month of pregnancy and experiencing pelvic pain and SI joint pain from tight ligaments and hip flexors, leaving my baby malpositioned. This type of chair was recommended to help relieve this tightness so I ordered the yogachair with standard shipping from Amazon. It arrived in two days!! I took it to work this morning and it didn't even take 30 minutes to set up. I know it will need some tightening over time, but the allen wrench you use to put it together has a storage spot just under the seat cushion so you won't lose it. I sat down and instantly felt all of my tight areas release. Plus, like another reviewer said, you just can't help but sit straight and tall on this chair.
The one thing I will say is I'm not sure how this would fit a taller person. I'm 5'8" and it fits me well, plus I could see it fitting shorter people well, though they may have to adjust their keyboard height down. The seat and knee pads are pretty long, so maybe there is enough room for taller people to adjust, but certainly not the tallest.

The Yoga Chair has completely vanquished my lower back pain with its unconventional design. The weight-on-knees seating position takes some getting used to, but after a while it becomes second nature. I'm on my second one after the first one fell apart, but for just $99, the comfort it provides more than makes up for its simple construction.
